Corrected the leg which was off, as well as the face. After you add some hair then the girliness sort of resolves a lot of things. I like the nuances on the muscles, I rarely handle that as well as I have here.

Tangent; Two Things
1. I read a long time ago in "How to Survive and Prosper as an Artist" that as a working artist you really need to give yourself permission to draw and be an artist.

2. In Airbender Uncle Iroh offers a sage piece of wisdom that, "It's important to believe in oneself, but it is also okay to hear it from somebody else" or words to that extent.

More and more I'm realizing how important it is (because mirror neurons have a lot of say in how we live our lives) that role models/examples of people doing what we are aiming for, but also to hear from one of those people that "you're good" and "you can do it, just keep doing it." I never imagined how important that is to someone like me. Especially hearing how doomed I am from parents, grandparents, Mark Chiarello... how profound an effect it can have to be validated by a role model or someone further down the path.

Anyone who wants to do this sort of thing and is looking for those Tacit Knowledges that they don't teach you; this is a big one. I've found that I wasn't able to draw at all when I thought I was doomed and when I overturned that and was in this sort of neutral place I could actually take my "first steps". Having someone who has been "doing the thing" say, "yeah, you can do it; you're good." Very transformative.

Other than that, keep drawing and you'll get it. That's the secret.
