So on Audioshocker everyone is posting their workstation shots. Because I'm a ridiculously pretentious ass I have a mock Wing Chun dummy (built by my co-workers husband) next to my drawing station. Mostly because it's the only convenient place to plant it in my apartment. Being the alpha nerd I have attained multiple intelligence in regards to nerd-dom; a "turbo-nerd" if you will. :) I can't just be down with comics or movies, but martial arts and napping as well. (Not pictured, comfy bed with memory foam).

Turning my critical eye to my work station I think I need an arm height platform for my pens & shit. I could probably move the library shelf over to the table so I don't use my floor as place to store my books. Note; ergonomic kneeling chair. Booyah!

I used to get hunch back at Kubert and since the men in my family have a history of back trouble I converted and got one for Christmas a couple years back. Best drawing tool I own. The table has to be near vertical though which I don't mind. Outside the curtain is my little deck. :)

I love the Wing Chun dummy!!! Your table is so well lit, which is fantastic. And I see some Super Haters pages sitting out there. AWESOME!

But wait... you draw while kneeling??? Do you have another chair around in case the kneeling gets to be too much?

Never happens. The weight is evenly distributed. Sometimes I put a memory foam pillow on the butt part for more cushion, but that's about as far as it goes. I usually get hand cramps more than anything. I love the kneeling chair, really saves the back. "Ergonomics works for me!"

Yeah, I can pull the blinds if it's a sunny day or open the sliding glass door in the spring through fall. After looking at everyone else's I definitely need an arm height platform. The little sliding drawers aren't cutting it.

After a decade or more of formal & informal martial training I realize "I'm never going to get into a cool knife fight". So it's mostly for fun. :)
